V2: Vertical Velocity in Six Flags Discovery Kingdom ( Vallejo , California , USA ) is a steel roller coaster of the model Twisted Impulse Coaster from the manufacturer Intamin , which opened on June 8, 2001.

The layout of the track is kept quite simple. There are two towers in front of and behind the station. The rear tower has a slope of 90 °, while the front tower only has a slope of approx. 45 °, but has a 360 ° rotation. This is also unique with this model, as both towers have a 90 ° slope on other railways of this model. The train is accelerated out of the station to around 105 km / h using LIM and drives up the first tower. Then the train rolled down this tower backwards and through the station, where it is accelerated again, up to the second tower. The train shuttles back and forth between the two towers several times while it is accelerated again in the station.

Trains

V2: Vertical Velocity has a train with seven cars. Two people (in a row) can be seated in each carriage. Shoulder straps are used as a restraint system.
