VCS 80 is a single-board computer that was developed by Eckhard Schiller.

hardware

The hardware is similar to that of the C-80 . Only the clock frequency and the use of a 0.5 KB ROM and one instead of two PIOs distinguish the two from each other. However, the VCS 80 also appeared around three years earlier. The display had 9 digits, but one digit was not used.

software

The nameless operating system could be programmed using 24 keys. Loading and saving was implemented using a cassette recorder. Even games could be programmed with it.

emulation

The system can be emulated using JKCEMU .
