The VC Götzis is an Austrian Volleyball Association of Götzis in Vorarlberg . The association was founded in 1977. The club is a member of the Vorarlberg Volleyball Association and the ASVÖ and appears under the sponsor name VBM VC Götzis . The home games are played in the Götzis sports hall; the club colors are black and red.

The association promotes the exercise of volleyball in a performance-related and broad-based manner and carries out intensive youth work .

successes

The greatest sporting successes include the participation of women in the 2nd Bundesliga and the two-time participation in the promotion playoff to the 1st Bundesliga in the seasons 1986/87 and 1988/89, in which the promotion did not succeed. In the 2008/09 season, the championship title in the women's national league 2 could be won.

Venues

Since the club was founded, VC Götzis has played its home games in the sports hall of HS Götzis. At 7.5 meters, it is the second highest volleyball hall in Vorarlberg and has a capacity of 300 spectators.

The sports hall of VS Götzis Berg, sports hall of VS Götzis Blattur and the sports hall of BORG Götzis are also used for training and young talent purposes.
