The Austrian Volleyball Association (ÖVV) is the umbrella organization for volleyball in Austria . It was founded on March 14, 1953 and is a member of the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) and the European Volleyball Federation (CEV).
The ÖVV organizes Austrian championships for women and men , the winner of which is the Austrian national champion , the Austrian Volleycup for women and men and beach volleyball competitions.
history
The Austrian Volleyball Association was founded on March 14, 1953 by Rudolf Hautmann, who became the association's first president. The first founding associations were from Vienna, the Viennese area and Lower Austria.

The ÖVV organizes beach volleyball competitions for women and men. The focus is on the Austrian Beach Volleyball Tour . In addition to the Pro Tour for professional players, it also includes a Juniors Tour for youngsters and an Amateurs Tour for amateur and hobby players. At the end of the Pro Tour there is the Austrian beach volleyball championship every year .
