Austrian Beach Volleyball Tour

The Austrian Beach Volleyball Tour is the national tournament series of the Austrian Volleyball Association (ÖVV) in beach volleyball . The final of the Austrian state championship marks the end of the tour. In addition to the ABV Pro Tour, there is the Juniors Tour for youngsters and the Amateurs Tour for amateur and hobby players.

procedure

The ABV Pro Tour distinguishes between several categories. The names are based on the points that can be won for the ranking list per player. There are also a few other criteria that are set out in the implementing rules.

Since 2020 there has also been the Champions Cup as the season opening. The eleven best teams plus one team with a wildcard will compete for women and men . They play with group stages as well as semi-finals and finals. The winners will receive € 5000.

history

The Austrian tournament series was reorganized in 2013 when the previous marketer of the German tournament series took over the organization. The Austrian Beach Volleyball Tour has existed since 2015.
