The VC Zwolle is a Dutch Volleyball Association. The first women's team plays in the Dutch premier league. The first men's team played in the first division until 2019.
history
The association was founded in 1981. The men have played in the Dutch premier league for 29 years since 1990 and took part in the European CEV Cup in 1996/97 and 2004/05 . The most successful time was from 2006 to 2016 with the main sponsor Landstede , when the men won the national title three times and played in the European Cup for four years. From 2016 to 2019 you played as Coníche Topvolleybal Zwolle . After relegation from the "Eredivisie" the men compete as Voorsterslag / VC Zwolle in the 2nd division.
The women of VC Zwolle rose to the top national league in 2016 and now compete as "Regio Zwolle Volleybal".
Teams
There are seven teams for women and four for men (as a syndicate with VV Voorsterslag). There are also numerous junior teams.
