The Vageenas is a punk band from the Lower Rhine region .
history
The founding of the band goes back to a concert visit by singer Babette G. and guitarist Jens. Other founding members were bassist Jochen and drummer Sepp. The band was formed in 1994. After six weeks and only a few rehearsals, the first single punk rock single of the month was created . The sound was rough and the covers were handcrafted. In 2003, after several EPs , live LPs and a Picture-10 ", the first official studio album When Music Hurts… was released on Plastic Bomb Records . The second studio album, Teenage Music, followed in March 2006. There were numerous line-up changes until 2006. Since 1999 Rene B The guitar. In 2006 there was another line-up for drums and bass: "Burn Harper" (ex-District) has been playing the drums since then, Marcel J. the bass.
