Teenage Rebel Records is a German music label from Düsseldorf . It specializes primarily in punk bands from their own country. The Finnish bands Klamydia and Punk Lurex are an exception to this rule .

history

It was founded in 1988 by Rüdiger Thomas. The first release was the 7 " EP " Brut 66 " in 1988 , named after the band of the same name. The 100th release took place after 14 years and was the label sampler "Teenage Rebel - the sampler Vol. 3".

repertoire

In addition to various compilations , which deal with the topics of football ("Pogo In Der Gegengeraden" and "We Are Schalkers And You Not!", Both 1997), Düsseldorf ("A thousandth Düsseldorf", 1990, or "Düsseldorf Modestadt?", 1994) or the intersection of it ("5 Years Lost Boyz Flingern - A Life For Fortuna Düsseldorf", 2004), Teenage Rebel Records also publishes self-titled label samplers.

In addition, the label has specialized in re-releases over time , including a. from the Emils , Kaltfront and the cashiers ( have glasses ). The compilation H'Artcore , originally published in 1981, was also reissued in 1999.
