Babelsberg Pöbelz was a punk rock group. Its members came from Potsdam and Teltow .
history
The Babelsberg Pöbelz were founded in 1994. The group was named after the local Babelsberg district of Potsdam , where the local soccer club Sportverein Babelsberg 03 e. V. is resident with whom she felt connected. In June 1997, after three years of existence with the Dessau record company Halb 7 Records, their self-titled debut EP containing six songs was released. In the same year she also recorded another track for the label, which was released on the sampler in November 1997 . From the practice of the police service appeared. After numerous other publications, the group ended up in the punk area in the prestigious record company Teenage Rebel Records from Dusseldorf , where in 2002 in the cast Burgi ( vocals ), Stinky ( guitar , vocals), shower (guitar, vocals), Geili ( Bass ) and Peter ( drums ) the CD Meine Hand for my product was released, which was, however, partly received with criticism by the established punk and hardcore press.
