Vainius

Vainius († between 1338 and 1342 ) was Prince of Polatsk from 1315 to probably 1342 . Vainius was the presumed brother of Gediminas (1275-1341), the Grand Duke of Lithuania . In 1326 Vainius, as ruler of Polatsk, signed a treaty with the Novgorod Republic and Livonia . After his death, Narimantas ruled , but for a short time.
