Val Tantermozza (Susch)

The Val Tantermozza , also Tantermozza Chant Sura, is located near Susch in the Swiss Lower Engadine . The valley joins the eastern ramp of the Flüela pass from the north . The valley is dominated by the two peaks Flüela Wisshorn and Piz Champatsch .

The valley serves as an ascent route to Piz Champatsch. The climb is difficult and steep.

The name means mill funnel in Rhaeto-Romanic and refers to the funnel-like shape. Chant Sura refers to the name of a group of houses on the pass road. On older maps, the valley is referred to by the old German name Kehrenthäli .
