Valdemar Lindholm

Valdemar Lindholm (* 1880 in Borgsjö , Västernorrland , † 1947 ) was a Swedish writer, journalist and myth collector.

life and career

After studying in Greifswald and Berlin, he returned to his home in Sweden. Here he worked alongside his journalistic work increasingly as a writer. It is especially the fairy tales and legends of the Sami that he worked on and tried to preserve. His work received several awards. He received an honorary doctorate from Yale University in 1925.
