Valens (Koroplast)
Valens ( ancient Greek Οὐάλης , Ouales ) was a Greek Koroplast who worked in Thessaloniki in the 3rd century .
His name is only passed down by a signature in the genitive form " Οὐάλητος " on a clay statuette , which shows a representation of Aphrodite of Knidos . It was found in the Eastern Necropolis of Thessaloniki and is now kept in the Thessaloniki Archaeological Museum .
