Valentin Stepanowitsch Kulikow

Valentin Stepanowitsch Kulikov , Russian Валентин Степанович Куликов , English transcription Valentin or Valentine Kulikov, (born July 5, 1948 ) is a Russian mathematician.

Kulikow is a student of Igor Schafarewitsch , with whom he received his doctorate in 1975 at Lomonosov University ( Degenerations of Elliptic Curves and Two-Dimensional Singularities ). He is Professor of Mathematics in Moscow (State University of Printing Technology).

He deals with algebraic geometry and especially singularity theory (algebraic and analytic), counting geometry, classification of algebraic varieties, mixed Hodge structures.

He also published with his brother Viktor Stepanowitsch Kulikow .
