Valerius Lupercus

Valerius Lupercus (his prenomen is not known) was a member of the Roman knighthood ( Eques ) living in the 2nd or 3rd century AD .

An inscription that was found at the Gabrosentum fort and that is dated 122/300 shows that Lupercus was prefect of the Cohors II Lingonum , which was stationed in the province of Britannia .
