Valmorel La Belle is a well-known French winter sports resort in the Savoie department . It is located at 1,400 m in the Savoy Alps at the foot of the Col de la Madeleine . Valmorel is known for its special snow reliability. The ski area has around 162 kilometers of slopes spread over 81 slopes with 51 lifts. Valmorel is home to the only German ski school in France, the Valmorel snow sports school .
