Vara de rivera

The Vara de rivera was a unit of length in Mexico . The measure was used in shipbuilding . The Vara de rivera was three Mexican inches larger than the general Vara.

  • 1 Vara de rivera = 3 pies de rivera = 0.907833 meters
    • 1 pie de rivera = 12 pulgadas de rivera = 0.302611 meters
    • 1 Pulgada de rivera = 0.025217 meters

The simple Mexican vara was set at 838 millimeters in 1845 .

  • 1 Vara mexicana = 3 tercias / pies = 0.838 meters
    • 1 pie mexicana = 12 pulgadas / inch = 0.279323 meters
    • 1 Pulgada = 12 Lineas = 0.023278 meters
