Pulgada

Pulgada was a Spanish measure of length that was used particularly in Aragon and Castile . Measurements such as the dedo or finger or inch, linea and punto were part of the chain of measurements from the pie or foot down. The Pulgada was also the same size as the customs .

  • 1 Pulgada = 2.4 centimeters
  • 1 Pie = 12 Pulgada = 16 Dedos = 113.93 Paris Line = 9 ⅚ inches (Preuss)
  • 1 Dedo = 7 ⅞ Paris Lines = 0.018 meters
  • 1 Pulgada = 12 Lineas = 144 Puntos
