Varlaukis is a village with 142 inhabitants (2011) in the Eržvilkas district , in the Jurbarkas district in Lithuania , 7 km north of Eržvilkas , on the KK198 Jurbarkas - Skaudvilė highway , on the right bank of the Šešuvis . There is a wooden Varlaukis Catholic Church (built in 1833) and a section of the Eržvilkas grammar school. The Varlaukis forest district ( forest district ) covers 1,500 hectares. In 1970, 233 residents lived in the village. In Lybiškiai there was the Varlaukis train station.
