Vasilis Karras
Vasilis Karras (Βασίλης Καρράς; born November 12, 1953 as Βασίλης Κεσογλίδης in Kokkinochori ( Kavala ), Greece ) is a Greek folk singer. His songs are mostly about failed relationships, disappointments and lovesickness.
His trademark among the Greek singers is his rough, distinctive voice and his sometimes melancholy singing style, which, however, meets with great sympathy among his listeners and makes Vasili Karra one of the most popular and popular Greek singers of all.
Karras lived his childhood in Kokkinochori before he moved to Thessaloniki with his family at the age of 10 and grew up there.
