Veit Ludwig Megander

Veit Ludwig Megander (* in Schweinitz ; † 1709 ibid.) Was a Protestant religious writer.

Live and act

The date of birth and the exact date of death of Megander are unfortunately not known. After studying law, Megander first became an auditor in the Danish military. Later he was the Princely Saxon secretarius. Most recently he worked as an official inspector in Schweinitz . There he financed the reconstruction of St. Mary's Church, which burned down in 1637, through a lottery he ran.
