Velimir Grgić (born May 11, 1978 in Vinkovci ) is a former Croatian football player .

Career

Velimir Grgić started in the youth department of his hometown club Cibalia Vinkovci , in which he also played in the first team from 1999 to 2002. In July 2002 he moved to Germany for TuS Koblenz , who was then playing in the Oberliga Südwest. With the team he rose to the Regionalliga West . After the 2004/05 season he left Koblenz and moved to BSV Kickers Emden in the Regionalliga Nord . After 68 games in which he scored 11 goals, he moved to the Regionalliga Süd for SV Sandhausen in 2007 , with whom he qualified for the new 3rd division in 2008 . Half a year later Grgić went to Holstein Kiel .

For the 2009/10 season he was signed by 1. FC Saarbrücken , where he signed a contract until 2011. After one season, they were promoted to the 3rd division.
