The velsycon GmbH is a Manufacturer handling systems for special truck bodies, with Velsycon for vehicles, loading systems and container stands. The company builds hook changing systems and stands and offers bag, hook and combi changing systems including assembly on chassis, semi-trailers and tandem trailers.
history
Velsycon GmbH has been developing and building interchangeable devices for commercial vehicles since the late 1960s and is the manufacturer of these special commercial vehicle bodies.
At the beginning of the 1980s, the development and production of the first COMBILIFT type silo plate superstructure began, a system that is still widespread on the market today. In the following years, velsycon expanded the product line for silo change systems by various variants. In the mid-1990s, the development of additional body types for 2-pocket silos as system alternatives followed. With its products, velsycon can cover the entire spectrum of silo systems common on the market with solutions developed in-house. The products made in Wildeshausen are used nationally and internationally. In parallel to the systems for the transport of interchangeable silos, a division for disposal vehicles was launched, which mainly deals with front loading systems as fixed and interchangeable bodies. In 2019, velsycon was integrated into the Hüffermann Group. This resulted in a further intensification of activities in steel and special vehicle construction beyond the silo plate program.
