Ventricle
The technical term ventricle (from Latin ventriculus "small belly") is used in medicine for various parts of the organs that form a cavity = chamber / bulge:
- Ventriculus cordis = right and left ventricle

Ventriculus cerebri = cerebral chamber or cerebral ventricle
- Lateral ventricle
- Ventriculus tertius
- Ventriculus quartus
- Ventriculus laryngis = lateral bulge of the larynx between the pocket and vocal folds
