Veralize

The Veralisieren (also hartvernickeln ) is a company from the Swiss Veralit AG ( Schlieren , Canton of Zurich) established technique of thick-layer nickel plating .

It is a galvanic (electro-chemical) coating with nickel , which is characterized by extremely good anchoring in the base material. The technology has proven itself in the corrosion and surface protection of heavily stressed components, as well as in the repair of partially incorrectly machined or worn machine parts.

The difficulty lies in the fact that the electroplater has to build up a tough and not hard nickel layer.
