The Association of German Citizens' Associations e. V. ( VDB ) is the federal association of German citizens and homeland associations.

The Association of German Citizens' Associations is the umbrella organization of the citizens' associations of the Federal Republic of Germany and similar organizations that want to represent their common interests and the ideas of the citizens' association at the federal level, excluding any party-political and denominational tendencies.

The purpose of the association is to promote popular education and homeland maintenance as well as civic engagement for charitable, charitable and church purposes. The purpose of the statutes is realized through lectures, seminars, publications and support of the association members in their local concerns. The association is politically and religiously neutral. It pursues exclusively charitable purposes.

Members of the association are, on the one hand, associations or federations of civic and homeland associations, and on the other hand, individual citizen and homeland associations or other associations with similar goals.
