The Association of Academic Sports Associations (VASpV) was an umbrella organization of student corporations during the Weimar Republic .

Further accessions followed on February 28, 1926 by the Vienna Academic Sports Association founded in 1893 and on July 31, 1926 by the ASpV Borussia Berlin and the ASpV Masovia Danzig. On the same date, the name was changed to Association of Academic Sports Associations . The founding federation in Hanover dropped out in the winter semester 1927/28 and merged with the ATB Nordmark. To this end, the ASpV Berlin joined the association in 1929. In 1930 there was a traffic relationship with the ASpV Königsberg and ASpV Ostpreußen Königsberg.

On February 27, 1927, at the Berlin Weapons Student Day, he was accepted into the Allgemeine Deutsche Waffenring . Since July 1930, the Association of Academic Sports Associations has also been a member of the Erlangen Association and Honorary Agreement . In November 1933 the VASpV became part of the Academic Gymnastics Federation .
