The Association of Federal Fire Brigades V. ( VdBwFw e.V. ) is the professional association of fire protection personnel of the Bundeswehr fire brigades .
The main task of the Association of Bundeswehr Fire Brigades, founded in 1980, is to represent the interests of all members of the Bundeswehr fire brigades. The association tries to mediate with the employer on questions and problems arising from the special service in the Bundeswehr in relation to the social, legal and professional concerns of the members . As part of its public relations work, the association provides information about the Bundeswehr fire brigade in general, as well as about the special framework conditions for fire service in the Bundeswehr.
The Association of Federal Fire Brigades is a member of the Federal Professional Fire Brigade Group in the German Fire Brigade Association .
