Association of German Societies in Warmia and Mazury
The Association of German Societies in Warmia and Masuria is an organization of the German minority in the Warmia-Masurian Voivodeship . Until 2009 the organization was called the Association of German Societies in the former East Prussia .
The Association of Germans in Southern East Prussia is a member of the Association of German Social-Cultural Societies in Poland (VdG) . The association has had its headquarters since July 2010 on Kopernika Street in Olsztyn . Previously, the association had been based in the Kopernikushaus on Ulica Partyzantów since January 1, 2004 .
The organization was founded on October 3rd, 1992 in Bęsia (Bansen). On March 9, 1993 it was registered under the name Association of the Associations of the German Population in the former East Prussia (VdV eO for short).

The board of directors and the chairman have been elected by the assembly of delegates for 3 years (previously 2 years) since the statutes were changed in June 1997. 7 people make up the board.
