Bandage

A bandage is used to cover large areas of injuries such as abrasions , open fractures or burns with minimal germs and pressure-free . Advantages are the quick and easy application, as well as the easy removal during further treatment. A disadvantage can be that it slips if it is not properly fixed. They are available in the sizes 40 cm × 60 cm, 60 cm × 80 cm and 80 cm × 120 cm. The requirements for a bandage are  regulated in DIN 13152-A and DIN 13152-BR. Bandages are part of the mandatory filling of a company and vehicle first aid kit in the Federal Republic of Germany .
