Verbigener

The Verbigener were a Gau (Latin pagus ; i.e., part of the tribe) of the Celtic Helvetian tribe.

They are only mentioned by Caesar in his work De bello Gallico .

The Verbigen migrated in 58 BC. With the other Helvetians. After the lost battle at Bibracte , some of the Verbigen fled to the Rhine to reach their old homeland, but were intercepted by Caesar.
