Association of advisory business and economists

The association of advisory business and economists e. V. ( VBV ) is the oldest professional organization of freelance business consultants in the Federal Republic of Germany.

The association emerged from the group of freelancers of the Volks- und Betriebswirteverband, today's bdvb eV , which in 1946 succeeded the Reich Association of German Economists, which was founded in 1902 . VBV was founded on March 15, 1947. The association's headquarters are in Wuppertal.

Management consultants who want to be a member of the VBV must demonstrate a high level of qualification and submit to the guidelines on professional perception and practice.
