Verena Joos

Verena Joos (* 1951 in Lörrach ) is a German author and journalist.

Life

Joos first studied German and philosophy, then she worked as a dramaturge in Pforzheim, Freiburg and Kassel. She has conceived and helped shape many independent theater productions, including in collaboration with Reinhard Karger , such as the 1950s revue I don't want chocolate .

Today she is a freelance journalist and author.

Private

She is married to the composer Reinhard Karger , has a son from her first marriage and a daughter and a son with Reinhard Karger. She has lived in Vienna with her family since 2008.
