Vergi is a village ( küla ) in Vihula Municipality in Lääne-Viru County . Vergi is located in northern Estonia , directly on the Gulf of Finland , on the eastern bank of the Vergi peninsula, about 10 km from Võsu . The village has 107 inhabitants (as of 2006).
At Vergi, smaller sailing ships were made in the 19th and early 20th centuries . Today, the port, which opened in the summer of 1977, is a popular destination for sailors and tourists. The beaches, the forests and the untouched nature on the Baltic Sea invite you to hike and observe nature.
