Ordinance on objects for human contact

The Ordinance of the FDHA on objects for contact with mucous membranes, skin and hair as well as candles, matches, lighters and joke articles (in short: Ordinance on objects for human contact ) of 23 November 2005 of the Federal Department of Home Affairs is a statutory ordinance in Switzerland .

It lays down requirements for certain everyday objects that come into contact with the mucous membrane, skin and hair when used, including tattoo tools and ink , contact lenses , everyday objects for babies and toddlers, textile materials and leather products, as well as candles , matches , lighters and joke articles .
