The Packaging Academy is a training center specializing in imparting specialist knowledge in the packaging industry .

history

The Packaging Academy was founded in 2004 by the German Packaging Institute and the Austrian Research Institute for Chemistry and Technology . It offers career changers and trained managers the opportunity to acquire practice-oriented and structured knowledge.

purpose

The value chain of the packaging industry ranges from raw material manufacturers to branded goods manufacturers. Many managers in this economic sector are lateral entrants and have relatively little specialist knowledge. In addition, the half-life of specialist knowledge in the packaging industry is short and must therefore be constantly updated. The packaging academy bundles existing knowledge and makes it accessible in educational programs.

organization

The Packaging Academy offers a “Packaging Professional Course”, individual seminars and in-house training. The main topics can be chosen by yourself. Above all, practice-oriented knowledge is imparted. For this purpose, the training is carried out in the form of workshops. The speakers come from industry, science and the service sector.
