Marktstrasse with the Reconciliation Church

The Reconciliation Church is not a free-standing structure, but rather integrated into the front of the street. While the facade of the north wall with the main portal is in Marktstrasse, the sanctuary borders on Mittelstrasse. Both streets were mentioned as far back as the Middle Ages, making them the oldest part of the city.

The church is a rectangular system with 4: 3 window axes. The flat ceiling is over a large valley and cornice. There is a gallery on round columns on the north and west walls. The parapet is closed and paneled. The pulpit has a round body with fluted pilasters and classical pendants. The windows are arched and framed with battens and a wedge. There are also three circular windows on the gable.

The main portal on the north side shows an arched opening between cranked Ionic pilasters. There is a shortened arched window above the portal. An eight-sided roof turret above the facade gable serves as the bell tower. It is provided with slate cladding, arched sound openings and a profiled dome.
