A dispatch warehouse is a warehouse for intermediate or finished products (products intended for the sales market) of a company.

It does not necessarily have to be under the management of the manufacturing company itself, but can also be operated by a service provider . An effective and efficient control of this warehouse is of decisive importance, since stocks at the interface to the customer can be critical for the functioning of the value chain (supply chain).
