Wear tool

A wear tool is a tool that wears out during use and therefore has to be constantly renewed, such as B. drill bits , grinding disks, cutting disks or screw heads for assembly tools.

Another type of wear tools are tools specially made for a specific order, which have no further use after their use and are scrapped, such as press molds for body panels in the automotive industry. The tool may also have to be destroyed during the production process, e.g. B. Sand and clay molds when pouring .
