Ankara Treaty
Entitled Treaty of Ankara various agreements Turkey are designated by other states or organizations:
- The Ankara Treaty (1921) between the Turkish national government and France ended the military conflict with France in the Turkish Liberation War and led to the French withdrawing from southern Anatolia. Furthermore, Turkey was granted the exclave in northern Syria and is now considered the sovereign territory of Turkey.
- The Ankara Treaty (1925) with Bulgaria regulated, among other things, the questions that had remained open between the two states since the Balkan Wars .
- The Ankara Treaty (1926) with Iraq put an end to the Mosul question and established the border between Turkey and Iraq , which was not regulated in the Lausanne Treaty .
- The Association Agreement between the EEC and Turkey of 1963 is also referred to as the Ankara Treaty or Ankara Agreement
