Wounding is a war-related injury to soldiers . It can also affect the soul .

Soldiers with permanent injuries are called war invalids . An injury can lead to disability and entitle you to state compensation and pensions within the meaning of social legislation .

In Germany, injuries to soldiers on duty are also referred to as military service damage , for which there are legal regulations.
