The Dutch Resistance Museum in Amsterdam (Dutch: Verzetsmuseum ) is a historical museum documenting the resistance of the Dutch against the German occupation of the country during the Second World War .

The museum is located in the Plancius Building, built in 1876 opposite the entrance to the Artis Zoo , a former music hall and theater building for the Amsterdam Jewish community . The Star of David on the facade reminds of the original purpose.

It opened in 1984 and was added to the Dutch national monument list in 2001.

The exhibition focuses on the February strike (1941), the attack against the Amsterdam residents' registration office on March 27, 1943, or the fate of those involved in the resistance .
