The following discography includes the release of sound carriers from the label Improved Record , which was founded by Eldridge R. Johnson and released recordings before the Victor Talking Machine Company was founded , some of which were made while Johnson was still working for Emile Berliner . In addition, the recordings of the Consolidated Talking Machine Company , a company that preceded the Victor Talking Machine Company and founded by Johnson jointly with Leon Forrest Douglass , are listed.
