Vidal Sassoon International Center for the Study of Antisemitism

The Vidal Sassoon International Center for the Study of Antisemitism (CICSA) is an interdisciplinary research center at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem . Its founding in 1983 goes back to the British entrepreneur and namesake Vidal Sassoon , who supported it financially. The focus of the research is anti-Semitism in its manifestations. The center awards u. a. the Felix Posen Fellowship for pioneering dissertations in this field and has published numerous publications by authors such as Deborah Lipstadt , Cesare G. De Michelis and Robert S. Wistrich . CiCSA operates the extensive Felix Posen Bibliographic Project database with over 50,000 entries on the subject of anti-Semitism.
