Quarter arch

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The quarter sheet is a term used to classify paper sizes .

Since the A2 format is referred to as a normal sheet in row A and the halving of the side lengths results in twice as many pages in the next smaller format class, based on sheet A2 the format A3 is referred to as a half sheet and the format A4 as a quarter sheet . On a sheet A2 there are four quarter sheets in A4 format, i.e. four sheets (eight pages) in A4 format. In the field of printing technology, the term quarter sheet has therefore also become established for an eight-page folded sheet .
