The Villa Schwalbenhof is a building in Gärtringen . Today the house is used by the community as a cultural and event center. It also houses a memorial for the writer, journalist and literary critic Friedrich Sieburg .

In 1957 the Villa Schwalbenhof was built by the architect Fritz August Breuhaus de Groot on behalf of the manufacturer Erich Kiefer . Friedrich Sieburg, who was a regular guest at the house, married his widow Alwine after Erich Kiefer's death, so that in 1963 the villa became Sieburg's last residence. Sieburg died in 1964.

The villa, which had been acquired by the municipality of Gärtringen four years earlier, has served as a cabaret since 1982. It is a venue for cabaret, music, literature, theater and children's theater. A comprehensive renovation in accordance with listed buildings, with a simultaneous conversion to a culture and event center, took place in the years 2012 to 2013, since then club and seminar rooms have also been housed there. Since then, it has also been possible to rent rooms for private celebrations and company events as well as to hold weddings. On September 15, 2013, the reopening took place with an open day.

On the occasion of Sieburg's hundredth birthday, the community of Gärtringen opened a memorial for Friedrich Sieburg in the tower room of the villa on May 18, 1993. In connection with the extensive renovation of Villa Schwalbenhof in 2012/2013, the exhibition was redesigned. It is now located in the Great Hall ("Erich-Kiefer-Saal") and can only be viewed by prior arrangement with the municipal administration.
