Vinbräckasten

The Vinbräckasten is about 6.5 m high (total length over 7.8 m) the largest building block in Scandinavia .

It stands near Brofjorden, on Bautavägen, northwest of Rixö in Lysekil municipality, west of Brastad in Bohuslän in Sweden . It was already described in the book "Bohusläns historia och besskrifning", published posthumously in 1867 by Axel Emanuel Holmberg (1817–1862).

In 1972 the stone, which was broken into three parts, was repaired and restored.

The megalithic complexes of Rixö and the passage grave of Hagan are nearby .
