Vincent Elbaz (born February 3, 1971 in Paris ) is a French actor of Moroccan descent. Born the son of Moroccan Jews who speaks both Arabic, French and Hebrew.

Life

Elbaz successfully completed his acting studies at the Cours Florent after just two years. In 1993 he got his first film role in Cédric Klapisch's film Graduating Class : Wilde Jugend - 1975 ; He achieved his breakthrough in 1996 with Thomas Gilou's comedy Lies Have Short Skirts and Singles on the Road by Philippe Harel , for which he won a César nomination. In 1998 Elbaz received the Pirrot Prize in Berlin and the prestigious Jean Gabin Prize .
