Viscount Mackintosh of Halifax

Viscount Mackintosh of Halifax , of Hethersett in the County of Norfolk , is a hereditary British title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom .

Award and subordinate titles

The title was created on July 10, 1957 for the entrepreneur Harold Mackintosh, 1st Baron Mackintosh of Halifax .

He was already on January 28, 1935 in the Baronetage of the United Kingdom as Baronet , of Halifax in the West Riding of Yorkshire , and on February 6, 1948 in the Peerage of the United Kingdom as Baron Mackintosh of Halifax , of Hethersett in the County of Norfolk.

Today's title holder is his grandson John Mackintosh as 3rd Viscount.
