history

The Vistra Group, at that time still under the name OIL ("Incorporations and corporate services"), was founded in 1986. The company focuses on services in the areas of alternative investments , company formation, private and business customers ( corporate services ) and international expansion.

In the area of ​​corporate services, Vistra is one of the world's largest companies. In the area of ​​alternative investments, Vistra manages fixed assets worth over US $ 212 billion ( assets under administration ). Vistra has an international network of fund administrators , trustees, family offices and trusts .

In September 2017, Vistra took over the Corporate Services division of Deutsche Bank.

Vistra Germany

In October 2015, Vistra acquired the German Orangefield companies, including Orangefield real estate services GmbH in the property management sector and Orangefield Germany GmbH in the fiduciary and corporate services sector. These companies currently operate under the names of Vistra Property Management GmbH and Vistra (Germany) GmbH. In April 2017, Vistra acquired the Optegra group of companies for auditing, tax and legal advice.

Vistra now employs 200 people in Germany with services in the real estate and alternative investments sector. These range from the depositary function to cash management, regulatory reporting, accounting, tax and legal advice, the provision of back office functions and property management.

In the property management area, Vistra manages around 1.5 million square meters of rental space in Germany and Switzerland with 60 employees from Soest and Berlin. The focus here is on retail, office and logistics space. In the business areas of alternative investment services, auditing, tax and legal advice, the company employs around 140 people in Cologne, Hamburg, Munich and Leipzig.
